Eligibility

Tickets can only be sold within the Province of British Columbia and ticket recipient must be within BC at the time of purchase. Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older. If a winning ticket bears a minor’s name, the prize will be lawfully delivered on behalf of the minor to the minor’s parent, legal guardian or trustee. Tickets are non-refundable. Proof of ownership of shared tickets is the responsibility of the purchaser.

Winners will be determined by random draw from all eligible tickets.

Draw Dates
First Home Hospice 50/50 Prize Draw: Sept 4, 2025 at 5:00pm

26,500 tickets to be sold in total. 9,0000 tickets are available at $25 each. 10,500 tickets are available in 3,500 bundles of 3 tickets for $50. 7,000 tickets are available in 1,000 bundles of 7 tickets for $100. Prize value up to $250,000 (depending on the total number of tickets sold).

Ticket Sales Deadline: September 2, 2025 at 11:59pm (Midnight).

50/50 Prize Draw: September 4, 2025 at 5:00pm at the Dream Home.

Notification

An attempt to contact prize winners will be made following each set of draws using the supplied contact information provided on the ticket at the time of purchase. All winners’ names will be published on the Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society Dream Home Lottery website, and a winners’ list will be available for viewing at the Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society offices located at 1506 Ferry Avenue, Prince George, BC, V2K 0B1. The winners’ list will be updated within 24 hours after each set of draws.

The Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society reserves the right to publish the names and likeness of the winners of Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society Dream Home Lottery.

Prizes

All prizes must be accepted as awarded and have no cash equivalent and are not transferable or refundable. All prizes must be claimed within one year of the prize draws. The Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society Dream Home Lottery and its suppliers are not responsible for any costs incurred for the pick up or delivery of prizes. Winners are responsible for all shipping and delivery costs if they choose to have prizes shipped to them.

The Grand Prize Dream Home and furniture is awarded as is. All transfer costs will be the responsibility of the Lottery. Any and all taxes, strata fees, and/or costs associated with owning the property will be the responsibility of the winner from the date of possession. Grand prize winner accepts ownership as of time and date of the draw and waives all rights to tax rebates on the home.

If after a period of one year a winner cannot be located, the prize or cash equivalent to the fair market value of the prize will be donated to an approved beneficiary.

Prizes May Not Be Exactly As Shown

Should a prize become unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Lottery’s control, the winner shall be awarded fair market value.

Supplier Restrictions

Contest rules prohibit the following from purchasing tickets:

  • Board of Directors of the Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society and the senior officers, ticket coordinator and event coordinator of the Dream Home Lottery.

Delay in Draw

Should a delay occur in the draw time on draw day, every effort will be made to make the draw as soon as possible. Should an alternate day need to be announced, after approval by BC Gaming, all ticket purchasers will be notified via email.

Notice Advising Ticket Purchasers

You must be 19 years or older to purchase a ticket. Ticket sellers will advise all adult ticket buyers not to write the name of a person under the age of 19. A non-resident of British Columbia may purchase a ticket only if the entire transaction takes place while the person is in British Columbia, and if the ticket or receipt is issued at the same time. Winners will be determined by random drawing of tickets

Ties / Splits

During ticket draws a registered gaming worker will ensure only a single ticket is drawn from the barrel. In the event that a winning ticket lists more than one name, the Licensee will award the prize to any individual whose name is listed on the ticket. The Licensee is not responsible for resolving any disputes that may arise between the different individuals.

Your privacy is important to us and any personal information you provide when ordering tickets will not be shared or sold – please see our Privacy Policy for details.

The Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society and the Dream Home Lottery respects your privacy. We do not rent, sell or trade our mailing lists. The personal information collected by the Dream Home Lottery will be used to process ticket orders, notify winners, and send out current and future lottery information and to provide information on future Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society events, programs and fundraisers. If you do not wish to be contacted, please contact the Society at (250) 563-2551.

Ticket Purchase

Tickets may be purchased Online or In Person and are processed by our ERS partner RaffleNexus. The price of the tickets is not deductible as a charitable donation for tax purposes in Canada. Actual odds depend of the number of tickets sold.
