Eligibility
Tickets can only be sold within the Province of British Columbia and ticket recipient must be within BC at the time of purchase. Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older. If a winning ticket bears a minor’s name, the prize will be lawfully delivered on behalf of the minor to the minor’s parent, legal guardian or trustee. All sales are final once a ticket number has been assigned. Proof of ownership of shared tickets is the responsibility of the purchaser.
Ticket Purchase
Tickets may be purchased Online and In Person. The price of the tickets is not deductible as a charitable donation for tax purposes in Canada. Actual odds depend of the number of tickets sold. Payment by Cheques will not be accepted and no refunds will be given.
2023 Dream Home Lottery Rules
BC Gaming Event Licence # 141437
For the Hospice Dream Home Lottery only 13,999 valid tickets will be sold. Retail value of grand prize is approximately $824,500. Dream Home appraised value is $800,000 and includes 5 appliances valued at $8,100 and furniture valued at $16,400.

Four Early Bird Prizes will be drawn from all eligible tickets purchased prior to sales cut-off for each drawing. Cut-off time for all draws is 11:59pm (Midnight) the night before the draw. All Dream Home Prize draws will be held at 5:00pm at the Dream Home, 3445 Monro Way, Prince George, BC.
Early Bird prize winners are still eligible for the Grand Prize house prize.

50/50 Prize Draw: January 11, 2024 at 5:00pm at the Hospice Solace Office.
Notification
An attempt to contact prize winners will be made following each set of draws using the supplied contact information provided on the ticket at the time of purchase. All winners’ names will be published on the Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society Dream Home Lottery website, and a winners’ list will be available for viewing at the Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society offices located at 1506 Ferry Avenue, Prince George, BC, V2K 0B1. The winners’ list will be updated within 24 hours after each set of draws.
The Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society reserves the right to publish the names and likeness of the winners of Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society Dream Home Lottery.
Prizes
All prizes must be accepted as awarded and have no cash equivalent and are not transferable or refundable. All prizes must be claimed within one year of the prize draws. The Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society Dream Home Lottery and its suppliers are not responsible for any costs incurred for the pick up or delivery of prizes. Winners are responsible for all shipping and delivery costs if they choose to have prizes shipped to them.
The Grand Prize Dream Home and furniture is awarded as is. All transfer costs will be the responsibility of the Lottery. Any and all taxes, strata fees, and/or costs associated with owning the property will be the responsibility of the winner from the date of possession. Grand prize winner accepts ownership as of time and date of the draw and waives all rights to tax rebates on the home.
If after a period of one year a winner cannot be located, the prize or cash equivalent to the fair market value of the prize will be donated to an approved beneficiary.
Prizes May Not Be Exactly As Shown
Should a prize become unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Lottery’s control, the winner shall be awarded fair market value.
Supplier Restrictions
Contest rules prohibit the following from purchasing tickets:
- Board of Directors of the Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society and the senior officers, ticket coordinator and event coordinator of the Dream Home Lottery.
Notice Advising Ticket Purchasers
You must be 19 years or older to purchase a ticket. Ticket sellers will advise all adult ticket buyers not to write the name of a person under the age of 19. A non-resident of British Columbia may purchase a ticket only if the entire payment transaction takes place while the person is in British Columbia, and if the ticket or receipt is issued at the same time.
In the event that a winning ticket lists more than one name, the Licensee will award the prize to any individual whose name is listed on the ticket. The Licensee is not responsible for resolving any disputes that may arise between the different individuals. The Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society and the Dream Home Lottery respects your privacy. We do not rent, sell or trade our mailing lists. The personal information collected by the Dream Home Lottery will be used to process ticket orders, notify winners, and send out current and future lottery information and to provide information on future Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society events, programs and fundraisers. If you do not wish to be contacted, please contact the Society at (250) 563-2551.
Phone orders can be placed twenty four (24) hours a day by calling our Replay number at 1-866-419-7604 and will be processed during normal business hours of the Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society. ( Monday – Friday 8am-4pm) . When ordering by phone, please be advised that there will be a $3 shipping charge added to your order. Please allow 3 to 4 weeks from date of purchase for delivery of your official ticket by Canada Post letter mail.
On Line orders can be placed twenty four (24) hours a day at www.hospicedreamhome.ca and will be processed during normal Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society’s hours (Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm) .When ordering on line you will be send a order confirmation for your payment and separate e-mail containing the official lottery ticket number .The e-mail containing your lottery ticket number will be send out within 5 business days once your ticket has been assigned to you, filled out and placed into the barrel by a Hospice Dream Home staff member. Proof of ticket can be picked upon request at the Dream Home at 3445 Monro Way during regular Dream Home hours, Monday- Sunday 11am-5pm (excluding holidays) You can also request to have your tickets mailed to you for an additional $3 charge. Please allow 3 to 4 weeks from date of purchase for delivery of your official ticket by Canada post letter mail.
